Team in Indonesia
Nyimas Laula
Nyimas Laula is an Indonesian photojournalist based in Jakarta and Bali, Indonesia. Her works focus on environmental and human rights issues across the country. She began her journey in 2015 and has since worked with Reuters, The New York Times, National Geographic, and VICE. Nyimas Laula is currently in Bali, Indonesia, and available for news, editorial, documentary, and commercial assignments in the country.
Rizky Rahad
Rizky Rahad is an independent director, producer, and fixer based in Jakarta, Indonesia. His work seeks to reimagine Indonesia’s hetero-patriarchal narrative through intimate collaborations with the fringes of society, from a Javanese dance troupe reviving an ancient drag tradition to Timorese women tattooing themselves to survive sexual slavery. Rizky joined VICE as a senior producer in 2016.
Kenya
Nyokabi Kahura is a freelance photographer from Kenya with over 10 years of working experience. She has done productions for several organizations spanning different countries including Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan, Somalia, Central African Republic, Nigeria, Madagascar, Malawi, Tanzania, Sudan, Madagascar, Kenya, Zambia, Cameroon, Mozambique among others. She has extensive experience in writing human interest/change stories.

Ángela Ponce
Ángela Ponce is a documentary photographer and photojournalist based in Peru. She focuses on long-term projects that approach Latin American social issues, political conflicts, disability rights and memory. Currently she is a contributor for The New York Times and her work has been published in Bloomberg, Reuters, BBC, Getty images, Harper’s Bazaar, El Pais, La Croix, Aljazeera and others.
Omar Quezada Beltrán
Omar is a cinematographer based in Peru. His prolific work spans a variety of topics but always with an emphasis on portraying its subjects and conflicts in a personal, intimate manner. His work has been featured in major publications and festivals.
